So yea. Just kind of sitting here in front of the computer doing nothing. Damn I have so much stuff left unattended. Wrok for the magazine, work for school...jesus. It's fun doping things until the last minute ^^.

Gah! drinking my....sixth....soda of the day....no wonder I'm getting fat....

Just turned off the heater, since I was starting to feel a lil' light headed...no use in being an "artist" if I'm deader than JFK

*yawn* crap have an excel thing for tomorrow's computer class...goddamn I almost forgot, there's also the visit of a rebel leader to the school (Sub-comandante Marcos) have to get a speech ready for his welcoming. Have to find a few pics of him for some random school flyers. Weeee!

Anyways, on other news, I was listening to Gorillaz' newest CD, Demon Days, and though I didn't find it as active or aggresive as their first CD's (Gorillaz and G-sides) it's still a great piece to own. It seems that, with their first Cd, what they tried to say was "We're the Gorillaz, hear us roar" thus the great variety of rythm and intrumentalization. With the coming of the second disc, I think they tried to say "Dudes, we don't need no fancy ass intrumentalization to rock ass" which was absolutely true. While the whole ensamble is simpler compared to the first launch, the songs being less dynamic but at times more aggresive, the CD itself is worth a good couple of listens through and through

Let's pretend "Laika come home" never existed in this world however...let's all pretend and wish upon a shooting star.

With this latest CD, however, it seemed that their message was "Wes no need fancy instrumenalization or nutin" The Cd itself is much more passive than the above mentioned albums, but at the same time it's not bad nor dissapointing in the least bit. At the contrary, it's a strong vision of just how -amazing- the Gorillaz are, it's not they're aggresiveness, or their complicated and multiracial instrumentalization, but rather themselves what makes their music truly glow.

So we just came back from the Chihuahua Thinga and Stuffa majigger convention and...damn did we kick ass >D

A lot of people requested Yume over there, a lot of people requested statues over there...a lot of people requested -me- over there (ok, well...they didn't but...don't judge me!...). It was like a festival of comics and manga...even though it was a festival of comics and manga....
